The mechanical seal in this kit is the longer lasting 23799 style silicon carbide seal. One end of the impeller is threaded for use with puller. The Mechanical Seal in this Kit is Suitable Only If You Have The Original Factory Shaft. Must be able to see the retaining ring when impeller is removed.
